Blood Flow Resistance Training
Blood flow resistance training (BFRT) involves partially occluding blood flow to the exercising limb. This allows the joint to be worked at a lower load with a high intensity, decreasing risk of further joint breakdown.
Kinesiotape
Kinesiotape has been proven to reduce pain up to 90%! Benefits include increased circulation, proprioception, mobility, and muscle contraction. It can be used for acute injuries, chronic issues, and even to prevent re-injury.
Cupping
A form of tissue distraction, cupping causes the skin to rise and the blood vessels to expand. It enhances the release of the interfaces between the fascia and muscle resulting in improved muscle performance. Seen in Olympic athletes, cupping is commonly used to enhance sports performance.
